The Formula 2 show races into Abu Dhabi for the season finale to mark the end of an incredibly intense season that has really seen only a few drivers dominate the series, but one driver in particular has outshone the rest to take the 2017 Formula 2 crown – Ferrari Development Driver Charles Le Clerc (Antonio Fuoco’s Prema Racing teammate).
It has been a long break in Formula 2 since Antonio proudly stood on top of the podium in his home race, Monza with the Italian national anthem sounding out over Tifosi at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. The momentum is surely with Prema Racing Team going into the penultimate race weekend at the Circuito De Jerez.
The buzz and excitement heightened at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the Formula 2 Series, which rolled into the small Italian town for Round 9 of the season. It was an extra special feeling for Antonio Fuoco who stood proud on the podium for both the feature race on Saturday and the sprint race on Sunday.
